KYUR, Inc. is a Registered Investment Advisor located in Newport Beach, CA in the heart of the financial business district of Fashion Island. KYUR was founded by investment executives with extensive experience in equities and alternative asset classes. The team has managed equity, fixed income and hedge fund strategies at leading Wall Street firms, including Morgan Stanley, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Neuberger Berman, Man Group and GLG Partners.

Later, he was Head of a Global Fund Group at Morgan Stanley. Then, he joined BofA Merrill
Lynch as Senior Vice President of Global Wealth Management and Director of Alternative Investments, advising and managing assets for large institutions and Ultra High-Net-Worth clients. Dr. Tran has a Ph. D. in International Finance from George Washington University. He is the author of Market Upside Down: How to Invest Profitably in a Shrinking Economy (published by FT Press/Wharton School Publishing); Evaluating Hedge Fund Performance (John Wiley & Sons) –a recommended text by the CFA Institute; Japan: A Cautionary Tale (FT Press eBooks); Foreign Exchange Management in Multinational Firms (University of Michigan Research Press). Dr. Tran has also taught and lectured on finance and global affairs at leading graduate schools including NYU Graduate School of Global Affairs, Harvard, Columbia.
